The GOG/IDA/IFC Micro Small and Medium Enterprises was successfully launched on Tuesday 29th May 2007, at the La Palm Pleasure Beach.

The launching was graced by the presence of the Honorable Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu (Minister of Finance), Honorable Alan Kyerematen (The Minister of Trade, Industries, PSI & PSD), Mr. Tony Oteng-Gyasi (Preident of AGI), Development partners (IDA, IFC, WorldBank, Danida, DFiD, representatives from implementing agencies, private sector operators and entrepreneurs from all walks of life.

In his keynote address, the Hon.Minister for Trade, Industries, PSD & PSI listed the challenges faced by SMEs and how the MSME project would help address some of these challenges. Read more»
